Very true, Andrew! A pretty poor show, I say! But then maybe they too busy birthing orcs, unleashing cave trolls and helping Smeagol to find his inner self! ;-)

erhm... excuse me, but what is a WETA? I googled it but that gave me not much help and wikipedia showed me a creapy insect. I had picture this humanoid monstrous female so the resemblance is probaly correct, but I still am curious!

Weta Workshop is the New Zealand special effects house, based in Wellington (and named after a highly resilient NZ insects!), that was responsible for all the models, weapons, armour, creature make-ups and digital effects in Peter Jackson's 'The Lord of the Rings' as well as, among other films, 'King Kong' and 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'.
